Our Group
It was our task to see what information sources were saying about black women who have, and are currently making strides in our society. It was our task to see what information sources were saying about black women who have, and are currently making strides in our society. We researched libraries, electronic sources, periodicals, and journals. We found a lot of interesting information, and found that the black women who have made and those who are making an impact to the national fabric, be it economic, social or political, are finally receiving some form of proper recognition. Ida B. Wells did not receive proper recognition for the work she did during her era, and had not received the recognition she so well deserved in the media nor history books until recently. We believe that the information we share with you on our site will be very informative for you during your course of study, or just for your own personal enlightenment.
